Why do we raise funds locally?

In our early days we had the misfortune to experience the loss of Penlee’s boat and crew. Penlee’s replacement boats continue to help  with our fund raising today. They launch in all weathers regardless of conditions. We like to think that the money we raise with your help not only allows them to perform their rescues with the very best equipment but optimises their chance of returning safely to their loved ones.
